Sashiko is a traditional Japanese stitching technique that was born in Northern area of Japan hundreds years ago. Sashiko needles are very sharp, thick, and rigid to help with doing several running stitches at once. Longer sashiko needles are helpful for keeping lines of running stitches nice and straight. This leather thimble was created for comfort. It's debossed pad and elastic strap allows anyone to wear it comfortably no matter your size, and it can be easily and quickly transferred from 1 finger to another. No more thimbles for every finger!
