Nicer than I had expected, heavy in the hand, top and bottom finishes protected by plastic (like an iPhone screen cover). The base for the embroidery is metal, not cardboard. The interior I chose is the three compartment style, each compartment is plenty large enough for several pills. What I didn't know is that there'm is a mirror on the inside of the top lid, this is a nice bonus! I didn't buy the companion embroidery kit because I have all the components on hand, but do check that out if you don't have everything as you will need them.
